Dr. Emiliano Bilotti
Queen Mary University of London, UK
Dr Bilotti graduated cum laudae in Materials Engineering from “Federico II” University of Naples in 2003 after which he joined QMUL for his PhD. Since September 2014 Emiliano has held a Lecturer position at QMUL.
Emiliano's research interests lie in the processing-structure-property relationship in polymeric materials. He has extensive experience in processing and characterisation of polymer nanocomposites and smart polymers. More recently, he is focusing his research on flexible self-regulating heating devices (pyro-resistive materials) and polymers for energy (organic thermoelectrics, organic piezoelectrics). His work has been carried out in collaboration with industrial and academic partners through various EU and UK collaborative projects.
